Bacary Sagna insists Arsenal must remain confident despite losing their unbeaten run against Manchester City on Sunday.
The
Gunners went into the game on the back of an encouraging festive period
that had seen them go six games without defeat in the Premier League.
However, Laurent Koscielny’s early red card turned the game in favour of the champions and Arsène Wenger’s side slipped to a 2-0 home loss.
“To
play 11 v 11 against City is very hard, even if you are at home, but 10
against 11 is even harder,” Sagna told Arsenal Player.
“City
have some quality players, we have some nice players as well but with
one more on the pitch than us it makes it very difficult.
“We
can't let our heads go down. First of all we need to rest because we
play in two days [against Swansea]. After that we just need to keep
pushing because we have many games to come back and we are not far from
third position."
Sagna - We must keep our heads up now
